Donald Joseph Smith
Donald J. Smith, age 85, of Plymouth passed away June 20, 2021.
Don was a computer consultant for Siemans for many years. He was a snowbird with his wife, Helen, to Sun City West, AZ for 23 years, avid traveler including all fifty states and many international destinations, and creator of many “Rube Goldberg” contraptions. Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate to know him.
Preceded in death by parents, Joe and Inez Smith; and brother, John.
He will be missed by his wife of 66 years, Helen; children, Debbie (Dale) Bisbee, Cheryl, Rick (Paul Goulet), Dave (Mona); grandchildren, Jamison (Alissa), Harrison; great-granddaughter, Wren; brother, Frank, sister, Mary; and other relatives and friends.
Memorial Mass Wednesday, June 30 th at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 105 Forestview Lane North.
Visitation one hour prior to service.
Interment Gethsemane Cemetery.
Memorials preferred to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
