Donald R. Dykhoff

Donald, age 82 of Hamel passed away August 4, 2017.

Donnie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.  He was active in the Hamel Fire Dept, Hamel Athletic Club, Church of St. Anne, American Legion, and the Fr. George Knights of Columbus.

Donnie was a hard worker and was always willing to lend a helping hand.  He loved his large family and many friends.  Socializing, over a game of cards, was a favorite pastime.  He was a great player who loved big bids in 500.  He had a deep and heartfelt faith in God that guided in life.  He will be deeply missed.

Preceded in death by parents; John and Mary, siblings: Genevieve Pettit (Don), George, Adeline Kasari (Bill), Sylvia Rudolph, Marion Gagnon, Sonny/James and Rosie Dykhoff.

Survived by loving wife of 58-years, Mary; children: Steve, Michelle Schroeder (Dan), Beth Busse (Randy), and Mike; grandchildren: Brett (Ashley), Stephanie, Cody (Rachel), Jesse (Haley), Rachel, Andrew, Sam, and Sara; great grandchildren: Riley, Carter, Logan, and Payten; siblings: Gerry, Bonnie Sager (Duane), and Bob (Kathy); in-laws: Genevieve Dykhoff, Bill Rudolph, and John Gagnon.

Funeral procession leaving Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37TH Ave. N. @ Vicksburg Lane, 10 :15 AM Wednesday for Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM at the Church of St. Anne, 200 Hamel Rd., Hamel, MN.  Interment St. Anne’s Cemetery.

Visitation Tuesday 4-8 PM with 7 PM KC rosary at Gearty- Delmore.

Special thanks to Donnie and Mary’s friends and family for the many kindnesses during Donnie’s extended illness.
