Donald Churilla

Devoted husband, father and grandpa.
Survived by loving wife of 60 years, Loretta; children Leann (Willy) Moss, Michael (Tiffany) Churilla, Sue (Tom) Hebzynski, John (Karie) Churilla, and Donald J. Churilla, Jr; grandchildren Matt (Megan), Scott, Aidan, Lily, Sammy, Laura, Molly, Ben, Joe, and Henry; sister Sr. Marguerite Churilla, SSND.
Preceded in death by daughter Nancy Mehus; sister Maryann McCullogh; and brother Bob Churilla.
Don proudly served in the US Army during the Korean war.  He was the past Grand Knight of Fr. Wm. Blum K of C Council #3656, and a member of the Slovak Catholic Sokol as well as a member of the American Legion.  Don retired after 44 years of service at Dayton’s.   He was an avid gardener and spent many hours working in his yard.  Don gave lots of his time to volunteer work and he always had a smile for everyone.
Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
