Don Coy
Don was the son of Dwight and Helen Coy of Danvers, MN.
He is survived by wife of 60 years, Sheila; son Sean (Celeste) Coy, daughter Betsy (Eric) Burgeson, sons Bill (Michelle) Coy & Tim (Lisa) Coy; grandchildren Haley (Matthew) Phillips, Ted Coy, Jack and Heidi Burgeson, Sage and Aidan Coy, Hannah and Lauren Coy; great grandson Hudson Phillips.
Preceded in death by brother Dick Coy and great grandson Fletcher Phillips.
Don was a 1954 graduate of St. John’s University. Post college, he entered the Army and was stationed in Heidelberg, Germany, where he met his wife, Sheila McCormick. Don was a devoted father and an avid baseball fan, from coaching Little League to watching every Twins game each season.
Don retired in 1994 after a successful career at International Multifoods.
