Dolores J Anderson

Dolores was preceded in death by husband, Oliver (Sonny); parents, George & Esther Franke and brothers, George Jr. and Michael. Dolores is survived by her children, Darrell (Stephanie) Anderson, Marie (Ken) Hebert, Gail (Tom) LaLonde, Carla Miller and Kerry Anderson; siblings, Gordon Franke, Jeanette Tate, Gerald Franke, Gloria Knowles and Barbara Franke; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dolores was born and raised on a farm in rural North Dakota. She was a hard worker; helping out on the farm early in life and later as a waitress at Peter's Grill in downtown Minneapolis (her homemade apple pie was better). She was especially proud of having her picture taken with a United States president while working at the grill. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother with many passions, including mosaic art, quilting, knitting, crocheting, sewing, china painting, gardening and baking (especially at Christmas). A private family memorial will be held per her wishes. The family would like to thank the nursing staff on 4 East/ Methodist Hospital, St. Louis Park and the staff of Comfort First Assisted Living in St. Louis Park for their care and compassion.
