Dimitra Sironen

Dimitra Sironen, age 80, passed away May 31st, 2016 at Walker Methodist Health Center in Minneapolis.  Born in Stilia Greece, she migrated to MN in 1967 and lived in NE Minneapolis.

Survived by daughter, Sophia (John) Tsovilis; grandchildren, Vasili (Christi), Efrosine, Demetra, Christos (Evony); great grandchildren, Nikkos, Kostas, Yiannis; sister, Efstratia (Christos) Bakritges; sister-in-law, Cassandra Apostolou; many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by husband, Elmer; son, Vasili Asimakopoulos; brother, Aristides Apostolou; and niece, Christina Zoitos.

She was a loving mother, a doting grandmother and she will be missed by all her family and friends.

Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Celebration of Dimitra's life will also be held from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at the Parker Skyview Apartments at 1815 Central Ave NE, Minneapolis.
