Dianne L. Fisher

Dianne Louise Fisher (née Bartus), aged 69, passed away after a long brave battle with uterine cancer on August 26, 2024, in Brooklyn Park, MN.

Born on January 7, 1955, in Robbinsdale, MN, Dianne was an ever-loving, kind, funny and warmhearted woman known for her deep passion for quilting, sewing, baking and gardening, which brought joy not only to her but also to those around her. She had a 37 year career with CenturyLink and was a long time volunteer for Project Linus making hundreds of blankets for children in need and touching many lives. She also had a love of travel, taking roadtrips to all corners of the country in their red convertible, cruises and flights visiting family, friends and experiencing the world.

Dianne was preceded in death by her mother, Adeline Bartus; father, Tony Bartus; and brother, Daniel Bartus. She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Fisher; daughter, Jody (Hashim) Dawson; and son, Mark (Erica) Fisher. She leaves behind three beautiful grandchildren, Liam, Livia and Laylah along with many dearly loved nieces, nephews and cousins. All will miss her more than she may ever know.

Dianne's life will be celebrated with a visitation on Tuesday, September 10th from 4-8 pm at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Home, 3888 W. Broadway, Robbinsdale, followed by a memorial service on Wednesday, September 11th at 11 am at Family of God Lutheran Church, 8625 Zane Ave N., Brooklyn Park, MN.. A luncheon will follow the memorial service. 

Dianne's love for her family, her hobbies and her kind spirit will be remembered by all who knew her. Her family invites friends and community members to join in commemorating her life and contributions.
