Diana C. Hardin-Weiss, age 65, of Golden Valley passed away on May 11, 2020. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Tom. Survived by daughter, Hannah (Matt) Bauman; grandchildren, Summit and Vera; brothers, Greg (Joyce) Hardin and Jim Hardin, and sister Barb Rogers, nieces and nephews, many Wells Fargo co-workers and lifelong friends.
Diana worked at Wells Fargo for 38 years. She spent most of her time there managing a team within the ACH department and was responsible for project leadership, testing and implementation of strategic and tactical enhancements. Diana was best known for building strong relationships- she loved getting to know others and learning how to put a smile on a person's face.
Tom and Diana met in 1972 and had one daughter: Hannah. The three of them took many trips and adventures- especially to their favorite place: the North Shore of Lake Superior. Their love was a special one, all three of them would constantly share how they were lucky to be family and extremely blessed to be the best of friends. Tom and Diana welcomed Hannah’s husband, Matt, with open arms and were even more overjoyed to become grandparents to Summit and Vera. Known as YaYa and Ba, Diana and Tom quickly took to their new roles and constantly showered both kids with love. We know Summit and Vera will continue to feel that love in a new way.
Diana was diagnosed with cancer in June 2019 and fought hard to stay with us in this world. We will miss her for her love, laughter and guidance. We are filled with joy knowing Diana is free of pain and reunited with her husband, Tom, and look forward to the day we are all together again.
A celebration of life will be held for Diana following the Coronavirus. Thank you for sending your love and prayers to our family at this time.
