DeWayne "Red" I. Fast
DeWayne “Red” Fast, 87, of Brooklyn Center, passed peacefully on Thursday, July 15, 2021.
DeWayne loved to paint figurines and participated in the church choir. He also taught Catechism at church. DeWayne loved going to the lake. He retired from Honeywell.
Preceded in death by wife, Joanne Marie; brother, Jerry; sister, Jean.
DeWayne is survived by children, Mary Jo Shirley, Timothy, Christopher and Susan Hamann; seven grandchildren, Cory, Joseph (Justyna), Casey, Timothy, Thomas, Abby and Jacob; three great grandchildren, Connor, Lily and Ridley; brother, James (Judy); sister, Judy Faison; other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Tuesday, July 20 at the Church of St. Alphonsus, 7025 Halifax Ave N, Brooklyn Center, with visitation one hour prior to Mass.
Interment Mound Cemetery.
