Dennis Haux

Dennis David Haux,

 82, of Plymouth, MN., passed away on January 11th, 2025. Born on September 13th, 1942, Dennis lived a life full of love, dedication, and service.

Dennis met the love of his life, Judy, through friends at college, and they shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised four children, and Dennis was a proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A dedicated family man, Dennis's love for his family was evident in everything he did. He worked as a computer engineer at Seagate until his retirement in 2014. He had a passion for sports that was a significant part of his life, and he spent many hours coaching his family and their friends.

Dennis had a variety of interests, including puzzles, gardening, and volunteering. He also prioritized family vacations. He was an active member of his church, teaching Sunday School and confirmation classes and contributing to various charities. His commitment to community service extended to his role as a Scout Leader and Scout Master as his kids were growing up.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father, David Haux; his mother, Frieda Haux; and his brother-in-law, Earl Frank. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Judy Haux; his children, Michelle (John) Neumann, Jeff (Lynette), Greg (Cindy), and Matt (Angie); his grandchildren, Ashley (Dennis), Nicole (Tyler), Amanda, Samantha, Chase, Chris, Anthony, Nathan, Jessica, Ryan, Emily, and Jake; his great-grandchildren, Harper, Logan, and Hudson; and his sister, Maxine Frank. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of kindness, dedication, and love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

A visitation will be held at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel in Plymouth, MN on January 23rd from 5-8pm, and a funeral service will be held on January 24th at 11am at St Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Road 6, Plymouth with a visitation one hour prior.
