Delores Elaine Ess,

age 94 of Crystal, passed away on January 15, 2023. Delores is survived by son, Richard Ess; sisters, Dianne Yanish and Joyce Holliday; brother, Anthony (Sandra) Friedland; cousins, Betty Rod, William (Sandra) Friedland and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents, Alvin and Cora Friedland; the love of her life, Maynard Ess; sister, Eileen (John) Fait; brothers, Donald (Vicky) and Kenny (Jeanne) Friedland; brother-in-law, Eugene Yanish. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at the Church of Saint Raphael 7301 Bass Lake Rd., Crystal 55428. Visitation 1 hr. prior to Mass at church. God saw that you were getting tired

And a cure was not to be,

So He put His arms around you and

He whispered, “Come with me.”

With tearful eyes we watched you suffer

And saw you fade away.

Although we loved you dearly,

We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

Hard working hands to rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us

He only takes the best.
