Survivors: (Carpentier’s) Mark, Craig, Chris, Nick, Mike, Hanna, Nelson, Carter, Nathan, Jolene, Said, and Tammy. James Iacono.
Preceded in death by: (Carptentier’s) Douglas and Timothy. Magdeline Iacono, Bartalo Iacono and many siblings.
Attended Basilica of Saint Mary and North High School. Delores grew up in Minneapolis in the 1930’s during difficult times. She endured World War II era challenges and powered on.
On February 10, 1951 she married the love of her life, Douglas Anthony Carpentier. They quickly grew a Catholic Family including four boys and a dog. They enjoyed 10 years on Vincent Ave. N., and moved to a new house in Plymouth in 1970, where she resided for her remaining years with her sons by her side. Dee worked at the Minneapolis Grain Exchange cleaning offices during the 80’s and 90’s. She became an avid Minnesota Twins fan. She spent times with her friends playing bingo and loved playing slot machines. Delores loved to travel. She made many trips to San Francisco, where she had family and friends. Her travels brought her to Alaska on several occasions where son Chris lived with Sandi, Hanna and Nelson. Tim also lived in Alaska from 2004 to 2011. She also made it to Italy in 1991. Additionally, she was known to take road trips to the East Coast or wherever the road was heading. She sure loved life!
She also enjoyed spending time at the cabin in Chetek, WI, where she could relax and spend time with Mark, Jolene, Nick, Tammy, Mike, Carter, Nathan, and Chester.
Unfortunately, Delores battled medical issues during her life. She overcame coronary struggles and digestive problems later in life. Ultimately, she needed extended care and could no longer survive. God Bless!

Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
