Debra “Debby” Cizinski, beloved mother, grandmother and wife, passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 72.

With her steadfast love and support, Debby left a profound and lasting mark on the hearts of her family, friends, and neighbors. Debby dedicated her life to the well-being and growth of her three children and her granddaughter, and her beautiful memories will be cherished by them forever. Her kindness and compassion touched countless lives.

Debby was born in Owatonna, Minnesota, on February 1, 1952. As the oldest of four children, including triplet brothers, she grew into a strong, resilient and confident woman.

Debby married Jim Cizinski in 1979. Together, they raised Emily, Jordan and Ben. Their family lived in the Kingfield neighborhood of South Minneapolis for over four decades. Her and her family have been members of Mount Olivet Church since 1985.

Debby was a passionate researcher of old houses, a writer, a lover of books, and a curator of one-of-a-kind treasures for her granddaughter, Mavis. Her devotion and dedication to being Mavis’s “Oma” was reflective of her endearing love for her family.

Debby will be deeply missed by her children, Emily, Jordan, and Ben; her husband, Jim; daughter-in-law, Dana; and her granddaughter, Mavis. She will also be remembered by her brothers, James (Mary) Larson and John (Renea) Larson, along with many extended family members whose lives were touched by her memory.

Debby joins her mother, Marcella "Sally" Larson Peterson; father, Darowin (Bud) Larson; and brother, Joel Larson, in eternal rest.

Debby’s life will be celebrated on January 19th between 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at 303 Ridgewood Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403.
