Dean McEnery

Dean McEnery, 83, formerly Plymouth, MN, died Friday September 2, 2022 at Heathers Assisted Living in Crystal, MN.

Dean was born January 8, 1939 in St. Paul, MN to Edward and Gladys McEnery. He graduated from Humboldt High School and entered the U.S. Air Force as a mechanic. He served for 4 years and was honorably discharged.

Dean graduated from vocational school and became a commercial electrician with Muska.  During this time he also earned an Associates Degree and also taught various classes at the technical school. Dean was also very active in the St. Paul Brotherhood of Electrical Workers’ Union.

Dean loved cars, especially Buick. He restored many cars and always enjoyed attending Back to the Fifties while he was healthy. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and very rarely, if ever, missed a race. He also enjoyed watching movies and accumulated quite a DVD collection after his retirement.

He is survived by his two sons, Dean “Dino” (Deona), Peter (Sara); grandson Parker. He is also survived by his sister Patricia Becker. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter.

Memorial Service 2pm Wednesday, September 14 at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel, 3888 West Broadway, Robbinsdale. Visitation at 1pm. Private Interment on October 18 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
