David Llewellyn Stedje

David L. Stedje, age 80, of Crystal passed away on January 28, 2021.

He grew up in Hettinger, ND and attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, where he met his wife, Ione. After graduation in 1963 they started their married life in San Jose, CA. He moved his young family to Crystal, MN in 1966. Dave enjoyed time with his family, traveling & serving at his church.  Becoming Papa after the birth of his granddaughters was his greatest joy.

Preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Ella; in-laws, Rudolph and Ella.

Survived by wife of 58 years, Ione; daughter, Davon; son and daughter-in-law, Reid and Amy; grandchildren, Nicole, Colton, and Allison; brother and sister-in-law, Phil and Barb; sister-in-law, Naomi; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 30th at 2pm with visitation starting at 1pm at House of Hope Lutheran Church, 4800 Boone Ave N, New Hope, MN 55428.
