David Schwichtenberg, 58, of Dayton, Minnesota died peacefully in his home on February 20 th , surrounded by his family. Born on July 24 th , 1959, Dave grew up in New Hope, Minnesota. He attended Cooper High School and graduated from St. Cloud State University. Later, he thoroughly enjoyed his work at Cargill. Dave will be remembered as an amazing father, husband, and friend. His enthusiasm for life was contagious and creating memories with his boys was his priority. His friendships were lifelong, and he very much enjoyed his time with friends and neighbors.

Dave is survived by his wife Paula of 28 years; sons Mark and Austin; brothers Randy (Cathy) and Jay (Kathy); special cousin Dean; mother-in-law Jeanette; sisters and brothers-in-law Debbie (Ronnie), Donnie (Bobby), Jeanice, and Tracy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by parents Gordon and Jearldene Schwichtenberg; and father in law Don Christie.

Interment Lakewood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers (please no lilies due to allergies), donations preferred to Fairview Home Hospice or American Cancer Society.
