David T. Nicoll

David, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, February 27, with loved ones by his side.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Lois, and son-in-law, Dana Kamerud.

He is survived by his daughters, Lois Kamerud and Judy (Tom) Mottaz; grandchildren, Jenny Kamerud, Julie (Paul) Weis, Laura (Tom) Cunningham and Christopher Mottaz; and great grandsons, Miles Weis and Jack Cunningham.

David was born in Billings, Montana on November 23, 1923. He treasured a 45-year career with the Northern Pacific/Burlington Northern Railroad where he began as a timekeeper and rose to the level of Assistant Vice President in Accounting.    David will be remembered for his quick wit, his work ethic, and his desire to be a good family man, friend and neighbor. People who knew him for a short or a long time described him as a sweetheart, a gentleman and a good man.  Above all, he loved his family and sharing stories about them. David will be dearly missed by the family and friends whose lives he touched.

Interment Hillside Cemetery, Minneapolis.
