David Alden Nelson

Nelson, David Alden age 60, died peacefully on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at his home, Atwood House of Homeward Bound, in Hopkins, MN. David was born on October 23, 1962 to Raymond and Aili Nelson. Survived by his parents and siblings, Timothy, Gayle, Eric (Laurie), Philip, Maria (Carlos Trejo) and Andrea, his nieces and nephews, Christina Nelson, Dylan Nelson, Jordan Trejo, Quinn Trejo, Samantha Trejo, and Jazmin Chase. The family is deeply grateful to all those who cared for David at Homeward Bound, Lifeworks, and Workabilities. David was a lovable, happy guy who endeared himself to all who knew him with a "Hey, You!" and is dearly missed. Service Monday, May 8, 11 AM with visitation starting 10:30 AM at Rockford Laestadian Lutheran Church.
