David Nicholas Jacques
David Jacques Sr., age 85, went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 20, 2021.
He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. Born May 14, 1936, in Mpls., MN.
He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph Jacques & Verena Engelhard; brother, Joe; and sister, Jacquie.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne (Joni); brother, Gary (Leona); and children, Lorretta (Peter), David Jr., Lisa and Paula (Bob); grandchildren, Shannon, Jessica, Ashley, Brittney, Cortney and Collin; great-Grandchildren, RJ, Ian and Lillian.
David had a successful career, after serving in the Army he retired from UPS at the age of 56. He took great pride in his job and worked hard to support his family. He was a member of New Hope Church and loved his Friday morning men’s bible study, he devoted his life to serving the Lord. He loved the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing with his family and friends. David will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral Service 11 AM Monday, January 10, 2022 at New Hope Church, 4225 Gettysburg Ave. N, New Hope, MN. Visitation one hour before the service at the church. Private interment.
