David P. Healy

David P. Healy, age 59 of Robbinsdale, passed away January 2, 2025, after a long 16-year battle with kidney cancer.

Dave is survived by his wife, Laura; sons, Trevor, Austin (Sami), Derek (Bailey) and their son, Silas; father, Leonard; sister, Kathy Healy Mengelkoch; brother, Don; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Florence; and sister, Lynn.

Dave was born on January 11, 1965. He grew up in Robbinsdale and graduated from Cooper High School. Above all, Dave’s family was a great joy to him. He was so proud to recently become a grandfather and his three boys were the light of his life. He was dedicated to his job at North Heights Lutheran Church and was loved by many there. He found peace in Christian contemporary music, loved the Minnesota Vikings, Ham Radio, his years working with the MS society helping with the bike tours, and could fix almost anything mechanic by trade. All who knew him valued his faith and resilience. He will be dearly missed.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 10 at North Heights Church, 1700 Hwy 96 W, Arden Hills with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9 at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel, 15800 37th Ave N, Plymouth. Interment at Crystal Lake Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
