Daniel W. Loftus

Daniel passed away on March 14th, 2025, at the age of 86. He was born on April 18th, 1938 in Iron Mountain, Michigan, son of Daniel W. Sr. and Margery Joyce Loftus.

Daniel worked on the Milwaukee Railroad with his father in his youth, and served in the Army National Guard. He married Corrine Graalum on January 12th, 1963 at St. Joseph's in Hopkins, MN. Together they raised three children and resided in Plymouth, MN. Daniel loved athletics, particularly baseball and tennis. He coached youth sports and was an avid Twins fan.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Corrine; children, Kathleen (Guy) Henson, Patrick Loftus, Michael (Marjean) Loftus; grandchildren, Joseph Henson, Ryan (Valerie) Loftus, and Elizabeth (Thomas) Griesbach; great-grandchildren, Hilde Rose, Bria, and Genevieve; sister, Barbara Joan. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother.

Daniel will be laid to rest at St. Joseph’s in Plymouth, private mass and interment.
