Craig Leo Humphries

Craig Leo Humphries, M.D., passed away peacefully on June 25, 2024 surrounded by family. 

Craig was born on October 21, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri. He received his degree in electrical engineering followed by Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Missouri. He completed his medical residency at the University of Minnesota. Craig worked as an Emergency Room Physician at United Hospital in St. Paul for nearly 30 years. He ended his career working for the Indian Health Service, serving the Native American population. Craig loved music, learning about different cultures & foreign languages and traveling. Craig was preceded in death by his parents Leo & Alice Humphries. 

Craig is survived by his loving wife, Jean (Wolff); his children Matthew (Kristin) Milner, Julie (George) Hilbring and Adria (Shawn) Cheney; and his grandchildren Abby, Izzy, Layla, Marlee, Caroline and George. 

Visitation for Craig will be held on Friday, July 19, from 5-8 pm at Gearty Delmore Funeral Chapel in Plymouth. His funeral will be Saturday, July 20, at 11am at St. Barnabas Lutheran Church in Plymouth.
