Craig M. Hazledine

Craig Michael Hazledine of Plover, Wisconsin, formerly of Crystal, Minnesota was born on June 20, 1985 to Mike and Kim (Wadsworth) Hazledine.  He was baptized on July 21, 1985 at Grace Lutheran Church of Lake Lillian.  On October 29, 2000, he was confirmed at First Lutheran Church of Crystal.

During his youth, Craig was involved in scouting. He started out as a cub scout and reached the Life rank in Troop 365. Additionally, Craig played baseball for years and was involved in his youth group at his home church, First Lutheran Church of Crystal.

He attended Cooper Senior High School and graduated on June 4, 2003.  He continued his education at Milwaukee School of Engineering until May 26, 2007 where he studied industrial engineering and played rugby. Craig was employed as a Continuous Improvement Engineer at Pointe Precision of Plover, Wisconsin and worked there until his death.  Craig died from a Pulmonary embolism on March 13, 2017.

Craig was a loyal Vikings fan and will forever have his name in the new stadium. He enjoyed camping and fishing; in 2014, he officially launched his first voyage on the Thunder Guppy, his fishing boat.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family and attended the family functions as often as he could.

Craig is survived by his father, Michael Hazledine of Crystal, his sister Amber Hazledine of Robbinsdale, and his grandparents, Robert and Lucille Hazledine of Spring Lake Park, Janet Jacobson of Lake Lillian, and Larry Wadsworth of Hancock.  He is also survived by godparents, Steve (Cindy) Wadsworth, Deb (Ed) Baumgartner and Rhonda (Steve) Johnson; aunts, Patti Hazledine, Susie (Mark) Roban, and Dawn Minke; uncles, Jim (Carla) Hazledine, John Jacobson and Dennis Jacobson; his godsons, Jared Johnson, Logan Wadsworth and Elijah Ibraheem; 19 first cousins as well as his many other relatives and friends.

Craig was preceded in death by his mother, Kimberly in 2001 and his sister, Kelli in 1983.
