Cory A. Muller

Cory Muller, of Mound, MN, died peacefully after a battle with cancer on June 5, 2020 at the age of 55.

Cory is survived by his wife Linda Muller (Johnson); his children Zachary Muller of Monroe, LA, Alexander Muller of Minneapolis, and Harrison Muller of Minneapolis; daughter in-law Lily Muller; grandson Westbrook Muller of Monroe, LA; his parents Siebe and Maizy Muller of Slayton, MN; brother Nick and wife Jennifer of Lakeville, MN; sister Holly and husband Tony Johnson of CA; and countless aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and friends.

Cory was born in Windom, MN on January 16, 1965 to Siebe and Maizy Muller. He graduated from Metropolitan State University with a degree in marketing and spent most of his career in various sales positions where his outgoing, personable approach helped him excel.  Most recently he was in sales for Octapharma USA, Inc.

In October, 1993 Cory married Linda and they began what would be an amazing 27 years which included the births of their 3 sons, Zachary, Alexander and Harrison.

How Cory loved life! His contagious smile, boisterous laugh and ability to make anyone feel welcome were recognized by many. He was a devoted father and could be found coaching, cheering, guiding and teaching his boys on any given day. Cory was most happy with a house full of friends, standing over the grill making 100’s of wings and frying fresh french fries. He was all about opening our home as a place for the kids and friends to gather.  Secretly, we all know he was just another one of the boys.

Cory’s love for sports was present everywhere.  (He and Linda met at a NorthStars Hockey Game. Go figure) He cherished time watching his sons play, coached when he could, and was their ultimate fan. He also enjoyed countless hours of attending/watching the Vikings and Twins game with his band of brothers. I am forever grateful for them.

Cory also had a great passion for renovating and making our house a home.  He was skilled at fixing or building just about anything and its evident in the special touches he added to many rooms in the house. Like his family and friends, Cory poured love into every project and sweated over every detail.

Our chapter may be ending but the story will live on.  Cory has left behind an incredible legacy and the many cherished memories as well as his spirit will always be with us.
