Christine "Missy" F. Olkives

Christine, also known as Missy, a nickname given to her by her father when she was little, went home to God on Thursday, June 20th.

She was a woman of faith, family, and love. Christine always gave to others, whether it was time volunteering at Feed My Starving Children or to friends and family who needed someone to listen to them.

Christine will be greatly missed. She led by example and had a contagious smile. She loved her family, including Max the family dog. Christine has made an lasting impression on everyone that she interacted with.

Funeral service will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church in Golden Valley on Wednesday June 26th. Visitation at 2pm. Service at 3pm

Survived by husband, Lyle; children, Lillian and Christian; mother, Suzanne Wegner; sisters, Rose (Josh) Eastman, Heidi (Jon) Underhill; step-mother, Woon Yep; additional family survivors,  Donald Hohn,  Jean Hohn,  Paul Hohn (Stacy) and Jennifer Brown; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by father, James Yep; step-father, Gerald Wegner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
