Christine Holliday

Christine Holliday was born on August 27, 1933 in Lexington, Mississippi to Houston West and Nanny (Pilgrim) West. She attended school in Lexington, Mississippi.  Christine moved to Minnesota in 1972 with her husband and daughter.

Christine was an entrepreneur for many years.  She started a daycare center due to her powerful love of children.

Christine had a huge heart for her Pastors at Trinity and the Trinity church family.  She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ
after becoming a member of Trinity Tabernacle under the great leadership of Pastors Louis and Gloria Walton.  She was a faithful member of Trinity Tabernacle for forty plus years.  She was an active member at Trinity, serving as a Pastor’s Aide worker for many years.

Christine was a loving mother and friend who showed unconditional love to everyone.  She had a great sense of humor, but was also feisty.

Christine had a great love for her husband’s family. She was married to WD Holliday for 60 years.  He preceded her in death in 2005; four siblings also preceded her in death.

Christine leaves to honor and cherish her memories her daughter Janet Barrett, son Tony Holliday, as well as seven
grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and her loving church family.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, August 11 at the Trinity Tabernacle Assembly of God, 2314 Plymouth Ave N., Mpls, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Interment at Lakewood Cemetery.
