Cheri A. Balthazor

Cheri Balthazor (Johnson), born Cheri Ostram on January 8, 1946, in Kenosha, WI, said goodbye to this world on November 13, 2023, in Plymouth, MN. May her spirit continue to dance among the stars, and may her family find solace in the memories that bring both tears and laughter.

Cheri, or Grandma Tinkerbell, experienced a life full of joys and hardships and always found the humor in both. She was open, honest and spoke her mind. She was and loved all things obscure, quirky, and weird. If you knew her, you have a great and totally unique story to share. We hope you continue to keep her spirit alive by sharing your memories and stories of her.

Cheri was preceded in death by her son Brian Johnson, her brother Denny Ostram, and her parents Alice and Claude Ostram.

Cheri is survived by her children, son, Brad (Maggie) Johnson of Pelican Rapids, MN; daughter, Jill (Jeremy) Eickhoff of New Port Richey, FL; son, Timothy Balthazor of Duluth, MN; ten grandchildren, Ashley, Moriah, Samantha, Madison, Claudia, Bryce, Alexandra, Timothy, Lorelei and Isadora.
