Charles F. Richter, age 86, passed away peacefully January 16, 2021. Born in Bird Island, MN. Former resident of New Hope and Champlin, MN.
Survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Kay; children, Amy (Bill) La Grange, Patrick Richter, Anne Richter, Teresa (Drew) Johnson & John (Allison) Richter; grandchildren, Stephen (Kelsi), Michelle & John La Grange, Alex Richter, Benet,Kaisa & Saxon Johnson, Mallory (Alex) Herndon, Nate, Madeline & Sam Richter; great-grandchildren, Mia & Thomas Herndon; Siblings, Patricia O’Connor, Msgr. John Richter, Germaine (Jim) Schaffer, Kathleen (Don) Neubauer; brother-in-law, Jack Davidson & sister-in-law, Kathy Lindahl; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Chuck was a member of Carpenters Local #322 and a long-time employee of Acoustic Associates. He was an avid sports fan, loved outdoor activities and competing with his family. He was a kind, hardworking, loving man and a second father/grandfather to many. Chuck loved the Catholic faith and was a devout parishioner of St. Raphael’s and St. Vincent De Paul.
