Chad Kenneth Davance, 41, of Lakeville, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023.
Chad Kenneth Davance (Davis) was born on Sunday August 8th 1982 in Cadillac Michigan to Tamara Olson and Kenneth Davis. He attended Worthington area schools and graduated in Lake Park Iowa. Chad spent most of his life in the twin cities metro based area of Minneapolis as a successful chef, ambitious salesman and business owner. Most of all an incredible father and loving friend. Chad gained friendships in any room he walked into. His energy was magnetizing and warm to any person he encountered. He lived everyday to the fullest, beginning to end with a burning passion to experience everything this wonderful life he lived had to offer. Chad loved deeply and gave tremendously, the unconditional appreciation he saw in any situation good or not so good was inspiring. He had a heart of gold and not even a million men could replace him. As Chad would say now, we made it. His seven amazing children, six bedroom house, his little garden, and his wife Lucy was what he lived for everyday. He was rich in many ways, but mostly by the love he was surrounded by. “We have everything we ever wanted.” he’d say proudly. He made life more than enjoyable and meaningful for the people surrounding him. He made living quite the experience that most don’t get in one lifetime. He is survived by his seven incredible children Leita Davance, Meila Davance, Cedar Davance, Lacy Tippetts, Leeann Tippetts, Lovie Lebaron, and Donald Stange and his wife Lucy Davis. His kids birth mother Candace Davance, as well as his parents Tamara Rogers (Darrel) and Kenneth Davis (Karen). His siblings, Heather Wilburn (Rob), Derek Davis (Kaylie) , Paul Davis , Logan Rogers (Taylor) and Shawna Rogers (Dalton). As well as many nieces and nephews. Chad was preceded in death by his brother Landon Rogers, grandfathers Keith Galles & Melvin Rogers & cousin Jason Galles & good friend Chris Rheineck.
