- Beloved Husband, Father, Family Member & Friend
age 37 of Long Lake MN passed away of natural causes on September 9, 2016 while surrounded by his family at the University of Minnesota Cardiac Care Unit. Chad was born September 4, 1979 in Ottumwa, IA. He is survived by loving wife, Kimbra; son, Colton; parents, Jeff & Linda Boitnott; sister, Cassie (Jeremy) Marts; grandparents, Ann Kirkland, George & Patty Boitnott; mother and father-in-law, Mary and Curly Johnson; brothers-in-law: Allen (Tammy) Johnson, Tom (Mitzy) Johnson,  Donald (Kellie) Johnson; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Raymond Kirkland.

“Chad was a kind, loving, generous husband and daddy who provided Colton and I an amazing life. He loved Colton more than he could express. Chad loved Saturday morning cartoons with Colton, giving Colton a ride on a tractor and taking him to the park. He loved me so much and it was evident whenever we were together. No doubt, you will continue to be with us in all that we do. We love you, Chad.”

“Chad was an amazing and supportive son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He would bend over backwards for anyone of us. He loved boating with his family, reminiscing about his days in Iowa with his grandparents and cousins. He loved playing with his nieces and nephews, hunting and fishing with his friends, playing his guitar, and exposing us all to variety of his interesting music. The wittiness of Chad amazed people. We could go on and on about his unique and amazing qualities. These memories of Chad will live on with us forever and have made a lasting impression on our hearts. We will forever miss you”
