On All Saints' Day, November 1, 2016, Kay died peacefully at home with her eight surviving children surrounding her. In her 92 years, she may have knit a gift for your little one, left a loaf of homemade bread, pie or danish at your doorstep, delivered a meal to you from Dinner At Your Door, exercised with you at the YMCA, recommended a great library book, chatted with you in the halls or by the pool at Willow Grove or prayed with you in church. When she saw an opportunity to bring comfort, Kay brought one of her many gifts.

Kay is preceded in death by her lifelong love and husband Bill; children, Lynn Knutson and Billy; sisters, Marge and Mary; and sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Don.

Survived by children and their spouses, Mary Dornbusch (Bill), Lee (Kristin Chirhart), Janel (Michael Nelson), Lisa Lauter, Conrad, Mark, Kris Long (Jeff), Katie Kloos (Jason); son-in-law, Kirby Knutson; Sullivan and Silitz nieces and nephews.

Kay was the best grandmother ever to her 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Now who will bake those cookies?
