Carole Ann (Mantyla) Windsperger

Age 83 of Maple Grove, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2022.  Carole was born May 26, 1939 in St. Paul to Roy & Alice (Jenkins) Mantyla.  She married John “Jack” Windsperger on February 2, 1959 in Mason City, IA.  Carole and Jack owned & operated Buchanan Lake Resort in Ottertail, MN for 26 years.  Upon retirement, they continued to enjoy life at the lake, as well as winters in Texas, Florida, and Arizona, prior to moving to Maple Grove in 2013.  Carole is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Jack; sons Bob (Beth) & Dave (Stacy), daughter Vicki Dreyer (Dan); grandchildren Deniece & Darrin Dreyer, Mike & Julie Berger; great-grandchildren Jace & Paris Dreyer; sister Nancy (Greg) Gelhar; and nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents; daughter Teri Berger; granddaughter Kristine Richie; sister Sharon (Bill) Scheiller.  Private family services will be held at Gearty-Delmore Chapel, 3888 W. Broadway, Robbinsdale.  Interment Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope.
