Carol passed away peacefully on Thursday January 20, 2022, at her home in St. Louis Park.

Carol was born on January 15, 1947 in Wadena, Minnesota to William and Irene (Krips) Hoffman.  She graduated from Wadena High School in 1965 and later that year moved to Minneapolis.  She worked for The Prudential Insurance Company for 30 years.  She also worked in printing sales for 10 years after her retirement from Prudential.

She married Donald Becker on June 21, 1980, and they had one son, Eric, who was born on June 13, 1982.  Carol had many interests, including gardening, reading, card making, scrapbooking, genealogy, and traveling.  Carol and Don were able to visit 45 of our US states, and Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.  Her favorite vacation place was Kauai where they spent part of each winter for a number of years.

Carol is survived by her husband Don, son Eric, and step children, Katherine Kitt (Mike Sharratt), and Bobbi Becker, step grandson Corey Becker (Meredith), great grandson Maxwell Becker and great granddaughter Georgia Becker, sisters: Joyce Norring (Terry), Sandi Norris, and Sherri Hoffman, nephews: Shawn and Kyle Thomas, Ben, Casey, and Nick Norris, brother in law Doug Becker (Shirley), nephew, Curt Becker, niece, Bonnie Becker Saindon (Ron), sister in law Sharon Becker, nieces Erika Becker Moskowitz (Rod) and Ashley Becker Smith (Kevin).

Preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Irene Hoffman, brother Kenneth, brother in law Richard Becker Sr., brother-in-law Bill Norris, nephew Richard Becker Jr., niece Kristin Thomas, and nephew Chris Carter.

Mass of Christian burial to be held on Tuesday (2/1), 11 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 145 Jersey Ave S, Golden Valley, MN with visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, 8151 42 nd Ave. New Hope, Minnesota.
