Buel (Bud) Abrahamsen, age 97 of Burnsville passed away in his sleep on April 2, 2018. He was a man of great faith, kindness and integrity who was loved by all.
Bud was born October 3, 1920 in Plainview and grew up in Winona. He was a CPHM in the Navy during World War II. He married his high school sweetheart Elizabeth Erwin in 1945. After graduation from the U of MN, he began a life-long and varied career with Cargill. Bud

s retirement was filled with travel, golf, woodwork, cards, baking, volunteer work, and get-togethers with his many friends and family. Mark, his son-in-law, accompanied him on the Honor Flight to Washington DC in 2011.
Bud was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty; parents Eva and Phil Abrahamsen; and sisters Phoebe Bambenek and Dorothy Swanson.
