Brian Daniel Clifford,

of Wayzata, born September 7, 1966, and passed away peacefully on March 29, 2023. Preceded in death by parents, Jane and Gene Clifford; aunt, Claire Keefe and brother, Dennis Clifford. He is lovingly remembered by siblings, Sheila Lind (Peter), Cathy Brennan (Jerry), John, Jim (Mary), Mark (Kath). Uncle to Eric Lind, C.J. Lind, Meghan Des Lauriers, Abby Brennan, Kerry Brennan, Theresa Acevedo, Jimmy Clifford, Michael Clifford and great-uncle to twelve nephews and nieces. Undeterred by Down Syndrome and a heart condition, Brian led a full and happy life. Never shy, he engaged with people he met at family and social events to enthusiastically share his many interests. Brian loved music, favoring classical and rousing marches. A true MN sports Superfan, he owned a jersey for every team in every season. He loved singing the MN Rouser. Throughout his 32 years with Opportunity Partners, Brian took great pride in his work. For the past 8 years, Brian has lived in two Hammer Residences and relished the independence, relationships and activities they provided. His Catholic faith was very important to him. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the Church of Saint Gabriel the Archangel, St. John’s Campus, #6 Interlachen Rd, Hopkins 55343. Visitation 1 hr. prior to Mass at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Hammer & NER, or Opportunity Partners.
