Brenda L (Neitzke) Pearcy

Brenda was an ELCA Lutheran Deaconess for many years.　 She served her internship at Zion Lutheran Church, Piedmont, CA and was consecrated in her home church, St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Winona in 1981. She served as a volunteer Deaconess at St. Barnabas Lutheran Church from 2011-2013.

Brenda was active in A.A. in her participation, sponsorship, and leadership roles, and she and her family were very proud of her 20 years of sobriety.

She was a passionate servant of the Lord, flower gardener, cake decorator, present wrapper, and hostess. She often shared fun stories from her time as a clarinetist in her high school marching band.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy and daughter, Meredith; parents, Connie and Roy Neitzke; brother, Kevin Neitzke and wife, Linda; sister, Lori Neitzke-Albrecht and husband, Brian; relatives and friends.

Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Winona.

Memorials for Brenda are preferred to the Lutheran Deaconess Association.
