Bonita Marie Kucala

age 85, of Eagan, formerly of St. Cloud, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. 

Bonita is survived by her children: Mark (Lisa) Kucala, Diane Kucala, Joseph (Lisa) Kucala, Michael (Anita) Kucala, and Mary Sullivan. She leaves behind nine grandchildren: Stephen (Carissa), Thomas (Morgan), Robert (Joanne), Carter, Tyler, and Justin Kucala, Stephanie (James) Perryman, Miranda (Brennan) Schultz, and Gabriel Sullivan. Additionally, she is survived by six great-grandchildren: Tristan, Zane, Julian, Charlie, Mason, and Lucas. She also had an amazing community of friends through her church family for which she was always grateful. 

She was preceded in death by her father, John Fritz; mother, Elfreda Sutton; sister, Mary; and former spouse, David Kucala. 

Bonita dedicated her life to raising her children with faith, a strong work ethic, and love. Throughout her career, she worked for NSP, Robbinsdale Dry Cleaners, and Ameriprise Financial. 

For the last year and a half of her life, Bonita received exceptional care at New Perspective Eagan, where she formed a special bond with her favorite caregiver, Kierra Whitehead. 

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 1st, at Church of St. Joseph the Worker, 7180 Hemlock Ln. N, Maple Grove. Visitation will take place one hour prior to Mass at church. Following the service, interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in St. Cloud. 

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the MN Kidney Foundation.
