Beverly Joan Johnson

Beverly J. Johnson, of Plymouth, formerly of Brooklyn Center, passed away peacefully August 24, 2020.

Born in Almelund, MN on the family farm on May 16, 1929. Graduated from Patrick Henry High School. Married Donald Johnson in 1950. He was the love of her life for 63 years. They spent many years of their lives together in Brooklyn Center and then moved to Plymouth.

Preceded in death by husband, Donald Johnson; and parents, Alton and Daisy Waldhoff.

Survived by son, Rick (Sue) Johnson; daughter, Leanne (Jon) Nelson; grandchildren, Shane Johnson (Heidi), Alyssa (Josh) Kurtz, Derek (Leah) Johnson, Krista (Jason) Nygren; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Amani, and Isaiah Kurtz; brother-in-law, Charles (Midge); and many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19, the funeral service is limited to family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association or NuWater Works, providing clean water for villages in Uganda, 401 Center Street, Old Hickory, TN 37138.
