Beatrice Beryl Stockdill age 90, of Golden Valley, passed away peacefully on Sept. 2, 2018, surrounded by those who dearly loved her.
She was born December 2, 1927 in Okabena MN. She grew up in Lake Crystal, she was Miss Fairmont. She moved to Trimont her senior year and was a cheerleader. Bea graduated from Mankato Commercial College. After six years of dating, she married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Gregory Stockdill, on January 12, 1952. Bea was a Realtor for 33 years, most of the time with Coldwell Banker Burnett Reality. She enjoyed gardening, canning vegetables (150 quarts of tomatoes one summer), playing bridge, sitting on the swing at the Ridgeview on Lake Mille Lacs, and hosting family gatherings.
She is survived by her sons, Gregory (Stacey), Jeffrey, Thomas; daughter, Barbara (Todd) Underhill; grandchildren, Catherine, Daniel, Steven Stockdill and Hogan, Justin, Preston Underhill; many relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by husband Robert "Bob" Stockdill; father and mother (Inest and Florence Anderson), sister Gwendolyn Anderson, brothers and sisters-in-law (Dr. Russel and Genevieve Anderson; Robert "R. W." and Jeanette Anderson).
Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved Bob.

The Stockdill family wants to thank the North Memorial Hospice team (Carol, Wilder, Lyndra, Noelle and all the other nurses and on call staff) that we are so very grateful – it is because of you we were able to honor Bea’s wishes and keep her to the very end in her home.
The Stockdill family also thanks all who attended today’s services for your thoughts, prayers, and presence. Please join them for lunch following the service.
