Arlene Sawvel

Arlene Bette (Berglund) Sawvel of Waconia, Mn passed away on January 6, 2025 from complications of COVID.

Preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Thomas Sawvel; parents, Clifford and Zella (Gertz) Berglund; and son-in-law, Donald Stordahl.

Arlene will be remembered as a loving and generous mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She co-founded the family business with her husband. Her favorite activities included being at the lake, playing cards, spending time with family, traveling, and time with friends in Florida.

Arlene is survived by her brother, Alan Berglund (Joyce); children, Shelley McLean, Kelly Stordahl, Shawne McLean, Troy Sawvel, Wendy Sawvel (Aimee and Liam Luu), Montserrat Sawvel; sister-in-law, Betty Reckinger; grandchildren, Shaylene Finn (Jake), Christina Komro (Ethan), Stephanie Sawvel, Elizabeth Sawvel; seven great grandchildren; and many other dear family and friends.

Private burial is planned. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a women and children's shelter in her memory, or charity of choice.
