Ardell Lewis Walgrave

Ardell Walgrave, age 84, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021, following complications from illness, in hospice at North Memorial Hospital, Robbinsdale, MN.

Ardell was preceded in death by his wife Delores (Pillatzki) Walgrave, daughter Kim Walgrave, parents, Harold and Ella (Arp) Walgrave, brother Alan Walgrave, sister Kathleen Walgrave and brother-in-law Dwayne Johnson.

He is survived by sons, Glen Walgrave of Minneapolis, MN, Keith (Diane) Walgrave of Chaska, MN, Chris Walgrave of Corcoran, MN; daughters, Darla (Lewie) Gonshorowski of Coon Rapids, MN, Dawn Walgrave of Crystal, MN, brother Leon (Beverly) Walgrave of Port St. Lucie, FL, sister Mary Walgrave of Ogden, KS, brother-in-law Lee (Debbie) Pillatzki of Chanhassen, MN, sisters-in-law Leone Johnson of Randall, MN, Patricia (John) Wilner of Grove City, MN and Patricia Walgrave of Madison, MN; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Ardell had a great love of the outdoors, enjoying camping, fishing, hunting, golfing, bowling, grilling, yardwork, and planting flowers and growing vegetables. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his grandchildren, celebrating holidays, and a Casino visit from time to time.

A private service, with immediate family, was held at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel of Robbinsdale, MN. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery New Hope, MN. If you wish, memorials can be made in dad's name to the charity of your choice.
