Ludovissie, Anthony W. age 97 of Brooklyn Park passed away on November 8, 2024.
He was preceded in death by wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Mary Pat Varney; brothers, Ted, John and James Ludovissie; sisters, Rose Burke, Agnes Anderson, Mary Schwartz Finn and Dorothy Gerber.
Anthony is survived children, Stephen (Linda) Ludovissie, Nancy Ludovissie, Daniel (Debra) Ludovissie, Barb (Peter) Capistrant and Sharon (Robert) Beduhn; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Anthony (Tony) was born in Wadena, MN on August 12,1927 to Nick and Anna Ludovissie. Tony served in the US Army from November 1945- April 1947. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth on August 31, 1949. Tony was a Tool and Die Maker for most of his employment where he mastered the skills of accuracy and quality.
Tony was a man of many talents and hobbies. He enjoyed spending time with others and was devoted to his family. He also appreciated fishing, hunting, playing music, and woodworking. He was a man who worked hard, was kind and full of a gentle spirit who could always bring a smile to your face. He was devoted to God and always generous and hospitable to his family and friends. Tony will be sorely missed, but we find peace and comfort knowing that our parents are together again.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Monday, November 18 at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 145 Jersey Ave N., Golden Valley, with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Maple Grove.
