Anne M. (Fuentes) Anderson

With a big heart and amazing spirit that was uniquely hers, Anne Renckens (Fuentes) Anderson spent every day of her 63 years living and loving life to the fullest. She was an incredibly caring labor and delivery nurse who took great joy bringing new life into this world for 42 years. But it was her role as a new bride to Pete and mom to Samuel and Molly Rose Fuentes and stepmom to Lindsey and Michael Anderson that made her happiest—and gave her the strength to fight against unbelievable odds this past year.
She was fun and funny, mischievous and glamorous, smart, passionate, and kind. She loved beer. And wine. And Cheetos. And big earrings. Especially big earrings. She enjoyed cooking and baking. And shopping.
She treasured her Regina friends, her Velcro friends and her nurse friends. She adored her cousins and her nieces and nephews.
And we know she was welcomed to heaven by her parents Eileen and Dick Renckens and her brother Jim.
And she will be sorely missed by her brother John (Renckens) and sister-in-law Ann, sister Katie and brother-in-law John (Sosnowchik), mother-in-law Casey Anderson, and sisters-in-law Debbie Renckens, Carrie (Dan) Verville, and Colleen (Craig) Reeves and brother-in-law Bruce (Sherri) Anderson and her many nieces, nephews and the countless friends whom she cherished.

And because she was selfless to the end, someone will soon have the gift of seeing life through her big, beautiful blue eyes.

Rest in peace. We love you and will never, ever forget you.

Memorials to Hope 4 Youth in Anoka, a drop-in center for homeless youth that Anne volunteered at, or The Good Shepherd Shelter Los Angeles, a safe shelter for women and children suffering from domestic violence.
