Anna Wold
On Friday, December 7, 2018, Anna Wold, passed away peacefully at the age of 52 after battling cancer for several years.
Anna was born on December 18, 1965 in Minneapolis, MN to Tom and Elaine (Welle) Young. She married Stephen Russell Wold on June 19, 1993. Anna worked at Quality Assured Label since 2008. She raised funds actively for the American Diabetes Association for over 11 years.
Anna loved her life and always faced it with an excitement that was truly her own. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, fishing, happy hour at the lake, travel, bowling with South Side Services, coffee on Friday’s with her condo ladies, cheering on the Minnesota Twins and recently took up yarning. She loved to use her creative side in her homemade cards and hats. Her cat Jamie brought her great pleasure and was an important part of her frequent phone conversations with her entourage. Her biggest joy was to be involved in everything and anything. If it sounded like a great time you needed to count her in.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Russell Wold; father, Tom Young; and mother, Elaine Welle Young.
She is survived by brothers, Tom Young (Amy), Joseph Young (Lisa), Michael Young (Erica); sisters, Therese Pietrzak, Amy Young-Hogan (Mike), Jennifer Cutter (Leeds/Earl); special cousin, Julie (Joe) Franko; stepmother, Dolores Young; godson, Evan Waytas; many nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces and many cousins.
