Ann Hildred Gondeck (Wisniewski)
Ann, age 94, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025.
Ann was born on May 4, 1930 in Foley (St. Cloud Hospital), MN where she attended high school. As a child, she learned to play the violin. She received her degree in education from St. Cloud State University and her Master's degrees from St. Thomas University in St. Paul, MN. After living in three different states the first 18 years of her marriage she and her family settled in Princeton, MN in 1968.
Ann was a third grade teacher in Princeton for 23 years and was awarded teacher of the year in 1992.
Ann was a breast cancer survivor. She loved to travel and take vacations with her friends and family. Her travels included Europe, Africa, South America, Australia, New Zealand and numerous state and national parks in the US.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Ann was a devout Catholic and volunteer for many charitable causes including meals on wheels and various church and civic events.
Survived by her younger brother, John (Joan) and her younger sister Catherine, children: Jane Wesbrook, Mayrose Gondeck, Kate Carlsen (Pam), Chris Gondeck (Norah), Susan Linscott, Elizabeth Ralston (Robb), and David Gondeck, grandchildren: Michaeline Collier, John Betzler (Kate), Michael Wesbrook (Amber), Katya Block, Ana Molina (Chad), Alexandra Fox (Jim), Rose Crider (Nate), Sam Gondeck (Erin), Charlie Gondeck (Sarah), Simon Gondeck (Meredith), Sevy Gondeck, Ava Gondeck, Grace Gondeck and 11 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband Jacob in 2013 and parents: Severyn and Edna Wisniewski.
A private mass for the family will be held at St. Bartholomew's church in Wayzata, Minnesota 11am March 20, 2025. Visitation 1 hour prior.
Following the mass, the burial will be at Fort Snelling Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Jacob.
