Angeline T. (Angie) Brantner

Angeline T. (Angie) Brantner, 81, of Plymouth, MN formerly of Eau Galle, WI, peacefully passed on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN, with her family by her side.

Angie was born on October 16, 1938 in the Township of Eau Galle, Dunn County. She was the daughter of Harry and Rose (Hartung) Bates. Angie grew up on the Bates family farm and attended school at Holy Rosary Catholic School in Lima, WI and graduated High School in Durand, WI. Angie married Vern on October 22, 1957 at St. Henry Catholic Church in Eau Galle. After marriage, they moved to Minneapolis in 1958 where Angie was a loving in-home day care provider. She kept in touch with many of the children well into their college years and even attended their weddings. After her youngest child went to school she worked at Norwest/Wells Fargo as a mortgage loan officer. After retiring, in 1999, Vern and Angie moved to Eau Galle where they spent many wonderful years at their beautiful lake home. They lived there until September of 2016, when they moved to Cornerstone Assisted Living in Plymouth, MN to be closer to family.

Angie enjoyed baking, camping, playing cards, traveling, and believe it or not, cleaning the house and laundry. She was the stain master queen! Most of all, Angie loved spending time with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Laverne; parents, son-in-law; Wade Erickson, six brothers and three sisters.

Angie is survived by her five children, Patty (Tom) Ely, Dennis, Bonnie (Wayne) Kuehne, Cheryl (Rusty) Rothfus and Brian; six grandchildren, Sarah (Dave), Joshua, McKenzie, Nathan, Mathew (Mary) and Amanda; one great grandson, Colton; one brother, Al Bates and one sister, Virginia Schuh; many other relatives and friends.
