Andrew Michael Forsberg

Andrew Michael Forsberg, age 35, beloved son & brother, died unexpectedly on January 13, 2021.

Born in Bemidji, MN on August 15, 1985. Andrew attended the University of Minnesota and was pursuing a bachelors degree in history. He was a charismatic conversationalist who shared his interests in all things law, history, research, cooking, and trivia. Andy was a gentle soul who was quick witted, quick to offer a helping hand, a kind word, or many words of insightful wisdom.

Andy will return to his final resting place up north next to his father, Michael Forsberg and mother, Carol Allen who preceded him in death. Also preceded in death by grandparents Vernon and Leona Forsberg.

Survived by stepmother, Diane Forsberg (Micheal Faber); sisters, Liza (Nathan) Witt & Cary McNamara (Nick); brother, Jack McNamara; uncles, Bruce Stein & Jerold (Linda) Forsberg; grandmothers, Kathryn Allen & Shirley Hanson; special friends, Kent Merhar and Hannah Sheppard; and his dog, Maggie. Others including aunts, uncles, nephews, niece, cousins, extended family members and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, please send remembrance donations in honor of Andy to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

A memorial service will be held in early summer to celebrate Andy’s life. Please refer back to website in late spring for memorial service details.
