Andrew David Ariegwe, 27, passed away unexpectedly from a cardiac event on August 28, 2021, in his home in Plymouth, Minnesota.
Andrew was born on October 7, 1993, in Great Falls, Montana. He was raised mostly in Great Falls by his father, Kingsley Uromu-Okpe Ariegwe and his mother, Karen Louise (Travis) Collier. He graduated from Great Falls High School in 2012. He then moved to Minnesota where, after a few years here, he met the love of his life, his queen and angel, Lorraine Dorothy “Niccole” Delmont in 2018. Together, he, Niccole and her son, Adonis welcomed a new baby girl, Adriana, into their family March 3, 2020.
Andrew loved his family dearly. Adriana was his reason for continuing to become the man he was. He had a passion for fitness, and through this passion he made great friends, found a career path, and made a difference in the lives of so many.
Andrew’s infectious laugh, gigantic size, and jokes about how short everyone else was compared to him are unforgettable. He was his mother’s favorite (only) son. His mother, Karen, was so proud of seeing him being such a good daddy. His upcoming wedding on September 17 was anticipated by all. Despite his struggles with his health, life was ‘Gooood’ as he would always say. We are truly heartbroken with his sudden passing. He will be greatly missed, always loved, and forever remembered.
He is survived by his fiancée, Niccole; children, Adriana and Adonis; father, Kingsley; mother and step-dad, Karen and Travis; siblings, Grace (JaCari) Murphy, Mateo Leathers, and Faith Ariegwe; grandmother, Theresa Robinson; aunt, Michelle Noriega; cousins, Elena, Collin, and Lauren Noriega; much more extended family here in the United States, Nigeria, England, and Germany; and many friends, colleagues, and students at Los Campeones Gym and Robbinsdale Cooper High School. Andrew was preceded in death by his grandfather, James “Robbie” Robinson.
There will be a viewing on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gearty-Delmore Chapel in Plymouth and a celebration of life on September 1, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. also at Gearty-Delmore Chapel in Plymouth. Condolences for the family may be shared online at www.Gearty-Delmore.com.
