Our beloved child and sister Amy, the youngest of our family, has passed away at age 57 to be with our Heavenly Father. Amy was a giving, loving, and generous person. She was always there for everyone and enjoyed planning fun family events especially involving our mom since Dad Bussen passed away 12 years ago. She was the kind of person who did things for everyone but herself. Amy’s greatest joy was making children happy especially her beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her much-loved father, James F, and brothers Timothy and James J. She is survived by her mother Joan and siblings Joan Charles, Terry (Ann), Pat (Barb), Leanne (Charles) Leeder, Michael (Renae), Peggy (Jay) Gleason, Theodore (Michelle), James A (Barb), Megan Kizershot, and sister-in-law Cindy Bussen.
Amy loved her dogs through the years-Maddy, Mark, and Peekaboo.
Visitation Wednesday, March 5, 5-8pm, at Gearty-Delmore Park Chapel, 3960 Wooddale Ave S., St Louis Park.
Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, March 6, 10am, with visitation starting at 9:30am at the Church of the Holy Family, 5900 W. Lake St., St Louis Park.
Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery at a later date.
Donations may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, a cherished children’s cause of Amy’s.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful and caring staff at Methodist Hospital.
