Amie Joanne Coughlin

Amie J. Coughlin, age 38, of Maple Grove, left this world unexpectedly on December 3 ^rd , 2020.

A beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, Amie was born in Robbinsdale, MN on January 27 ^th , 1982 to Tom and Joanne (Van Heel) Coughlin. Amie grew up in Maple Grove, MN and graduated from Maple Grove High School prior to attending Mankato State University, where she graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice. Amie gave birth to her daughter and light of her life, McKayla, in July of 2007. Amie will be remembered for the love and compassion she had for her daughter, her niece and nephews, and all of her family. This poured over into her work as a Nursing Assistant at North Memorial Medical Center, where she was so passionate for the care of her patients. Amie stood by her Christian faith through all of her life’s challenges.

Amie is survived by her daughter, McKayla; parents, Tom ad Joanne Coughlin; sister, Michelle (Mark) Bolin; brother, Joe (Emily) Coughlin; niece, Sammi; nephews, Gavin and Trace; Godmother, Mary; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and her beloved cat, Billie.

A private, immediate family only, service to remember Amie will be held. We plan to have a Celebration of Life at a future date, once her many family members and friends can safely celebrate.
